A Remembrance Day resource created for teachers to share with tutor groups student assemblies or to be used for a one off lesson with your secondary KS3 and KS4 students. Included in this Microsoft Powerpoint resource is a teacher-led powerpoint presentation on Remembrance Day with optional links to Youtube videos to enhance the learning. In addition to the teacher led presentation on Remembrance Day and how we celebrate it, there are also three fully resourced student activities (with answers for teachers or for students to self assess) which include a codebreaker activity, a cloze activity worksheet and a mini 10 question quiz. This resource activity contains 2x all about me bunting and flag templates in PDF format for students to complete with details about themselves and to colour in and develop on the design to show their individual personalities. A perfect activity for back to school in class, tutor time or as a set piece for homework. It would make a lovely display or a timecapsule piece for students to look back on at the end of their secondary school career. The individual bunting triangles could be used to make a hanging display in your classroom (there is a flap across the top to fold over a string) and the flag design would make a lovely wall display. The resource is aimed at secondary aged students - mostly new year 7 students starting secondary, however it can easily be used with other KS3 year groups. Questions on the bunting include things such as, name, birthday, self portrait frame, favourite book and subjects. A highly presented and detailed Powerpoint presentation containing 8 different grab and go starter activities. This resource is created so you can copy and paste the Powerpoint slide with the starter activity of your choosing and edit it to suit your topic/ the needs of your students.
